Those looking for more rigorous or competitive dance will enjoy the Pro/Am dance experience, where professional dance instructors (pros) partner with individual students (amateurs) to create a Pro/Am partnership. These couples work together during private dance lessons tailored to the individual. Pro/Am couples work on skills and techniques to progress through each level of dance from Newcomer to Bronze, Silver, Gold, and ultimately Open Gold. These couples can create choreographies for several different styles of dance, and exhibit them at Showcase events. Pro/Am couples can also take their routines to the next level by participating in official ballroom dance competitions around the country, or around the world! Pro/Am dancers can experience the glamour of ballroom dance with the costumes, dresses, makeup and accessories like you see on TV, and the excitement of dancing in front of live audiences or competitors!
